Keynote Speaker: DANNY SINGLETON
We are thrilled to have Danny Singleton join us for the 2025 SOLA Men’s Conference.
Danny is the son of Jimmy and Betty of Centre, Alabama. He married his best friend, Laura Mills on June 7,1986, and they have five adult children (Anna Laura, Jonathan, Matthew, Nathan, and Hannah Kate). I remain upset, I am not yet a grandfather. That is why I need this conference.
Born again at 10, graduated college with a passion for basketball encompassing 17 years coaching, called to ministry at 39 and since served 100's of churches as a consultant and evangelist while camping out at 10 different churches in either a Transitional role or a Lead Pastor role. In light of this "Swiss Army knife" kind of experience, Danny has now landed as Pastor of the wonderful people of Crosspointe in Ringgold GA.
Now, why Kneeling and Standing? Danny has given his life to the cause of Christ especially as it relates to Men. It is true - MENMATTER! Brothers, UMATTER! This weekend might be the gamechanger for your life. Our collective prayer for the 2025 SOLA Men'sConference is that we make much of Jesus and allow HIS word to transform us in this weekend of kneeling to live out loud our faith standing strong.
special guest Speaker: Coach Joe Kennedy
At this year’s SOLA Men’s Conference we have a special treat. Coach Joe Kennedy will be joining us to tell us his testimony of standing up for Jesus in the face of adversity.
Coach Joe Kennedy, an eighteen-year Marine veteran, was an assistant coach for the Bremerton High School (BHS) varsity football team. Before he even coached his first game, the Marine-turned-football coach made a commitment to God that he would give thanks at the conclusion of each game for what the players had accomplished and for the opportunity to be part of their lives through football.
This was met with disapproval from his school district and turned into a lengthy court battle. On June 27, 2022, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Coach Kennedy and his First Amendment right and on March 8, 2023, Coach Kennedy was officially reinstated as assistant coach and is excited to be back with his team.
Joe and his wife, Denise, are parents to four and reside currently in Pensacola. The film Average Joe, inspired by Coach Kennedy’s life, was released in October 2024. He continues to speak across the country promoting freedom of speech. Connect with him online at coachjoekennedy.com.
