Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the development of computer systems that can perform tasks typically requiring human intelligence, such as learning, reasoning, and problem-solving.  These electronic thinking marvels do their tasks much faster and more efficiently than humans could possibly do them.  They hold great promise for advancements in fields like medicine, communication, and automation.  But AI also poses a profound threat for catastrophic misuse, abuse, and loss of human control.  Revelation 13 warns that there will be a false prophet who will arise alongside the antichrist during the tribulation period and compel all to take the mark of the beast in order to buy or sell.  AI could be used to create lifelike deceptions and institute these controls over humanity on a global scale.

The next generation of men—young Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha (ages 0 to early 30s)—is being shaped in our churches, and it’s up to every man in every church to disciple them well.  If you are a man and attend a local church, you have a vital role in engaging, guiding, and challenging these younger men to grow in faith and leadership.  This session will provide practical, biblical strategies for investing in them within the local church, ensuring the next generation of men rise up within the church to be Godly men who do major kingdom work.  Oh, and don’t worry—this isn’t a sneaky attempt to recruit you for preschool or kids ministry (though they wouldn’t say no if you volunteered).

We will explore the significance of having a sacrificial prayer life, as exemplified by Jesus in Mark 1:35-39.  This kind of prayer life is crucial for Christian men as we encounter numerous challenges while striving to lead in our homes, churches, workplaces, schools, and beyond.  We will discuss how to connect with the Father through prayer, so we can be prepared for the battles that lie ahead.

Nehemiah was a man of prayer.  His fervent prayer to the Lord contained in Nehemiah chapter 1 laid the spiritual groundwork for the incredible undertaking of rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem.  Nehemiah would lead the Israelites to accomplish this great task and they would do so against great opposition.  Nehemiah depended on the Lord and on Him alone and, because he did, he was able to fulfill the great calling God had placed on his heart.  Nehemiah prayed first, and then he was prepared to stand tall for the Lord.

We will begin by explaining that the church’s main purpose, and thus every believer’s responsibility, is the evangelization of the lost – “missions.”  We’ll look at how Ephesians chapter 3 demonstrates the mission message.  We, as believers, need to always be ready to be witnesses for Christ, directly and indirectly.  We’ll discuss different examples of what missions may look like.  We’ll reveal the world’s need for missions and challenge attendees to actively participate in, pray for, and give financially.
